Identify my Device
This tool aims to help you identify which iOS device you have. Make sure you have your device with you, and we can get started! First off, choose your device type from the tabs below.
The easiest way to identify the iPad is by its “A” model number. You can find it by doing the following:
- Open the Settings app on your iPad
- Go to General → About
- Find the “Model Number” row, and click on it
- You should now see a number beginning with “A”. Enter the number below.
If you can’t see your model number in settings, you might be able to find it by following these steps:
- If you have a case on your iPad, take it off.
- Turn the tablet over so that the screen is face-down and the Apple Logo is visible.
- Look at the bottom of the tablet, just above the charging connector for the word “Model” followed by a number.
